Religious Education
St. Joseph Church holds religious education program (PREP) for all school students. Classes are open to children in levels 1 through 8. If your child is entering First Grade, he or she is eligible to start PREP. Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. for levels 1, 2, and 7, Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for levels 3, 4, 5, and 6, and every other Saturday evening 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. for level 8. Schedule subject to change. All classes are held in the St. Joseph School.
Sacramental preparation is held in conjunction with the PREP program. Children in level 2 receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and the First Eucharist. Those in level 8 receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
New and returning students must register each year. 2023-2024 Registrations are closed. Parent meeting on Sunday, September 10th at 6pm in the church. PREP starts September 23, 2023.
2023-2024 Sacrament of Confirmation Information
Confirmation at St Joseph will be held Sunday, April 28th at 10:00 AM. The Sacrament of Penance (Confession) will be on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM, and rehearsal for the Sacrament of Confirmation will be on Friday, April 26th at 6:00 PM. We will have a parent meeting on Sunday, April 14th at 6:00 PM in the church, and a mandatory confirmation retreat for students on Saturday, April 20th from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Below are the confirmation forms, which are due on February 20th. Please email them at prepsjoseph@gmail.com or drop off at the rectory during normal business hours.
